At Work

What can you do as an employee

Whether you want to organise a coffee morning or donate through your salary, we have lots of ways you can support NICFC.

Employee Fundraising

Fundraising at work has many benefits. It can be a great way to increase morale and get to know your colleagues better, encourage inter-department and cross-site communications. Plus it has also been known to introduce some healthy competition!

We have a team of Regional Fundraisers to help with ideas or take a look at our A-Z of Fundraising. You could also take part in one of our existing activities – Events Pages

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is one of the easiest and most tax efficient ways for you to give to charity. For example, if you pledge £5 from your gross salary each month the cost to you is only £3.90 and the NI Cancer Fund for Children will receive £5.50. Once payroll giving is established, there are no additional forms to complete, cheques or letters to sign as your donation is made directly from your salary on a regular basis.

For further information email fundraising@nicfc.com or call 028 9080 5599

Volunteering

Would you like to donate some of your time and make a difference to the lives of children living with cancer? Why not ask if your company supports a volunteering scheme to allow you time to support the work and services of the NI Cancer Fund for Children.

Volunteering activities can range from tidying up the grounds at Shimna Valley to helping out at NICFC School Fun Days. To find out more email fundraising@nicfc.com or call 028 9080 5599

Recycling

Do you have any old mobile phones or ink cartridges either at home or at work? If so, please donate them to our recycling appeal and you will help us to deliver our vital services to local families.

Simply log on to www.recyclingappeal.ie  Complete the form and choose the option to support the NI Cancer Fund for Children. A freepost envelope will be mailed to you. Fill it and put it back in the post. We will then receive the value of your donation.
