Members of staff at Desmond Motors in L’Derry recently got on their bikes and raised a fantastic £450 for NICFC.
Organiser Christy McGeehan wanted to do something to raise funds for the charity, and thought that a static cycle would be the perfect opportunity to do so. He said, “I wanted to do something that would bring our team together and make us all get active, and what better way than raising money for a good cause? The Sponsored Spin was great fun and the competition between staff members was fierce.” Each participant spent one hour on the static bike, with the best cyclist winning a prize.
Regional Fundraiser Sorcha Chipperfield said, “Thanks to Christy for organising the static cycle, and to every member of the team for taking part and raising such a fantastic total.”
