What better way to spend a bank holiday than watching racers pit their machines against hills and hay bales at the annual Dungannon Gannonball Soapbox Race? This year NICFC were thrilled to be chosen as the charity partner and had a brilliant time with the supportive crowd on the 29th August.
There were a few nail biting finishes throughout the races and we have to say a special thank you to the Burns family who created a wonderful Daisy inspired NICFC soapbox. Congratulations to Jordan who put the pedal to the metal and drove the NICFC ‘Flower power’ soapbox to victory, winning the junior section of the Gannonball Run!
We cannot say thank you enough to the team at Dungannon & South Tyrone Borough Council, Dungannon Regeneration Partnership and Dungannon Motor Club for their enthusiastic support and all who came out to enjoy the races and supported NICFC. To date a great amount of £900 has been raised!
