Christmas is in the air at the City Hotel, Derry as Santa’s Elves begin their preparations.
As part of the celebrations, the City Hotel are hosting a Festive Afternoon Tea on Sunday 18th December from 2-4pm. This delightful event will bring seasonal cheer for all the family while raising awareness and vital funds for Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children (NICFC), who provide important services to children, teenagers and young people living with cancer throughout the six counties.
The Festive Tea will be a welcome break for adults from the last minute rush of preparing for Christmas. They will be able to relax over a mulled wine reception, a delicious selection of the City Hotel Chef’s most festive sandwiches and a scrumptious selection of Christmassy treats. For children there will be suitably yummy snacks, party bags and entertainment – Santa is even going to be popping in for a visit!
Regional Fundraiser for Co. L/Derry, Sorcha Chipperfield commented,
“December is Children’s Cancer Awareness Month, so this Festive Tea couldn’t be at a better time! It is a great opportunity for families to relax and indulge in yuletide fun, while helping to brighten the lives of families in the local area, who are affected by childhood cancer”.
Tickets are priced at £10 per adult/£5 per child and they are on sale from the City Hotel reception. You can also buy tickets from NICFC on 028 9080 5599 which will then either be posted to you or left at the City Hotel reception.
