With the likes of Mr Incredible and the Super Mario Brothers testing their head for heights on Saturday 29th October , Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children’s Trick or Treat Abseil had to be a success! This fantastic Halloween challenge saw thirty five plucky souls scale to the top of the spectacular Dromore Viaduct, to take in the wonderful views before taking a deep breath and making the walk back to earth.
There were some truly colourful characters flying down the landmark attraction, as many of the dare devils came in fancy dress which really added to the sense of fun and adventure. Northern Irish weather even played nice for the day and kept clear skies while these hardy fundraisers took the backward stroll. NICFC’s own regional fundraiser Ruth Hobson donned her Wonder Woman cloak to conquer the challenge.
Speaking after the event, Regional Fundraiser, Lorna Watson added, “Everyone has brought so much warmth and enthusiasm to this Trick or Treat Abseil. It has really got us into the Halloween spirit and all for such a wonderful cause! Thank you to everyone who got involved and supported NICFC.”
