At Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children we offer practical and emotional support to children, teenagers and young adults aged 0-24 living with cancer as well as their parents, guardians and siblings. We also offer support to children and young people whose parent or guardian has cancer.

Every week in Northern Ireland three children, teenagers or young adults are diagnosed with cancer, leaving three more families to cope with a level of devastation that is almost impossible for most of us to comprehend.

With a head office in Belfast and with services extending to every part of Northern Ireland, NICFC offers support for the whole family including the lively and supportive Youth and Family Programmes, residential facilities at Shimna Valley in Newcastle and Pine and Birch Cottages in Coleraine and direct financial assistance in the form of our Road Miles, Home Heating and Travel for Treatment grants. Our young people and families are at the heart of everything we do and throughout our website you’ll get to meet some of them and hear more about their experiences.

We are a registered charity, so we rely on donations and volunteers in order to continue to deliver our support services exclusively in Northern Ireland. We strive to provide support to all users in a professional and courteous manner and we always love to see our families, young people and supporters getting involved in the work that we do.

Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children is a Company Limited by Guarantee and registered in Northern Ireland. Registration Number NI049930 and Inland Revenue No XR29768.
